Overactive Bladder

What is Overactive Bladder

An overactive bladder can be extremely disruptive to your child, contributing to missed time in the classroom, with friends, or during sports. Bladder symptoms such as urinary frequency and urgency can often be secondary to constipation, scar tissue in the abdomen, pelvis or groin due to a history of surgeries, postural dysfunction or poor movement patterns. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help identify the contributing factors and establish a treatment plan to help your child return to their life.
